First off, we would like to thank you for visiting our website. We hope that if you have not been at the shop before, that you may visit us soon. We would like to tell you a little about ourselves and what we do here.
Keystone European opened for business on a part-time basis in 2006 under the name White Knuckle Auto in Collingdale,PA. White Knuckle Auto was geared towards high-performance. In 2007, we went full-time, moved into a bigger place in Glenolden, PA, and changed the name to Keystone European. Instead of doing high-performance projects, we decided to go for general repair specializing in German cars; hence, the name Keystone European seemed more suitable. We own numerous modified diesel vehicles. A customer has introduced us to the world of Biodiesel. We dedicated some time in researching Biodiesel, and with some help, have created a little Biodiesel processor in the shop. Yes, we think GREEN too!
The business is owned by Joshua Coomes who is an expert level certified Volkswagen Technician. Josh started as a certified VW Technician in 2000, and has moved up the ranks over the years. He has mentored high school students, has trained entry level technicians, has been a Shop Foreman, and has been in-charge of quality control. Having worked at different dealerships gave him stronger skills in both the technical and business aspects. (See more of his credentials under Certifications.)
